平等機會委員會藉着30周年的重要里程碑，聯同香港單親協會於今年10月起至明年首季，合辦一系列體驗式活動免費提供予公眾參與，加深市民大眾對社會不同群體的了解，藉此推廣平等機會和多元共融的價值。
合辦的體驗式活動包括編織和氣球工作坊及女性賦權經驗分享。工作坊將會結合手作體驗與經驗分享，讓參加者除了學習編織及扭氣球技巧外，可透過身為創業者的導師及單親婦女的故事與經驗分享，了解她們在創業、照顧家庭、工作及社區參與的經歷與挑戰，從而促進對性別平等、家庭崗位分工及社會共融的認識。
是次體驗式活動費用全免，名額有限，先到先得。報名方法，詳情隨後公佈，請大家密切留意。
To mark the 30th anniversary milestone, the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) has collaborated with the Hong Kong Single Parents Association to organise a series of free experiential activities for the public from October 2026 to the first quarter of 2027. The initiative aims to deepen public understanding of different communities in society and to promote the values of equal opportunities, diversity, and inclusion.
The experiential activities jointly organised by the two organisations include weaving and balloon art workshops, with women’s empowerment sharing. Combining hands-on craft experiences with sharing sessions, participants in this workshop will learn weaving and balloon twisting, while listening to the stories and experience from instructors who are entrepreneurs and single mothers. Participants will learn about these women’s experiences and challenges in starting businesses, caring for their families, working, and participating in the community. This will help foster a better understanding of gender equality, the division of labour within families, and social inclusion.
The experiential activities are offered free of charge. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration details will be announced in due course. Please stay tuned for updates.
